The Reality of Amounts and Portions

     I hear a lot of people on TV complain that they can't eat so many fruits and vegetables everyday. I don't know if that's because they're trying to sell juicers and blenders or if they really believe that. People that don't like fruit are likely to believe this.

     Here's the big however, because of Americans being used to such large portions of food most of us don't realize that 1/2 of a banana is considered one serving. Most of us who eat bananas usually finish one whole one at a time. If you do that's two servings of fruit right there. If that doesn't help, too bad. Quit being such a big baby and eat what your body needs.
